We have an exciting position available for a Financial Inclusion Specialist to join us!

You’ll deliver a customer-focused financial inclusion service that that helps residents manage their finances, improve financial capability and reduce the risk of legal action or eviction. The role is focused on supporting tenancy sustainment by providing welfare benefits advice and money guidance.

You’ll ensure residents understand their welfare rights and receive all benefits they are entitled to, as well as providing support with applications for grants and/or charity applications.

What we’re looking for:

Able to provide personal financial advice and guidance.
Knowledge and experience of delivering welfare benefits advice, including relevant legislation such as the Welfare Reform Act 2012.
Computer literate, with experience using housing management and case management systems.
Able to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.
Able to design and deliver financial inclusion training courses for One Manchester customers.
Full UK driving licence

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join us in a part time capacity covering a maternity vacancy. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to turn financial data into meaningful insight that supports better decisions helping leaders have the financial understanding they need to plan effectively and use resources wisely.

We’re looking for someone who can turn numbers into clear compelling stories, someone who can make complex financial information easy to understand and relevant to a wide range of colleagues. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, spotting opportunities and risks early and proactively guiding people’s attention to what matters most.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll help shape budgets and forecasts, analyse performance, and build strong relationships across the organisation. You’ll challenge constructively, communicate with confidence, and use your insight to support the important work we do in keeping UK advertising responsible and fair.

You don’t need previous Credit Control experience to apply.

About the Team You'll Join

You’ll join a friendly, collaborative Credit Control team of around 12 Advisors and Senior Advisors.

The team works closely together, shares knowledge, and supports one another - especially when learning the role or handling tricky situations. There’s a strong focus on teamwork, development, and doing the job properly, not just hitting numbers.

Many people in the team have progressed into more senior finance roles or other areas of the business over time.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll manage your own workload and customer accounts, with support as you build confidence. Day to day, you’ll be:

Speaking with customers to understand payment queries and resolve issues

Managing outstanding invoices and keeping clear, accurate account notes

Monitoring overdue balances and agreeing next steps with customers

Producing credit notes when required

Working closely with internal teams (such as Sales Order Processing) to resolve account issues

Providing updates on customer accounts for regular stakeholder discussions

Maintaining performance in line with agreed service levels

Suggesting improvements to processes and ways of working

This is a customer-facing role, so communication, organisation, and professionalism are key.

What We’re Looking For

This role is a great fit if you’ve worked in roles such as:

Customer service or contact centre roles (complaints, payments, account queries)

Retail or hospitality roles involving cash handling, refunds, or customer problem-solving

Call centre roles in utilities, telecoms, banking, or insurance

Sales support or account administration roles

Finance admin, billing, or accounts assistant positions

You’ll likely bring:

Confidence speaking to customers about payments or issues

A calm, solution-focused approach - even when conversations are sensitive

Strong attention to detail and good organisation

The ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines

Clear, professional communication skills

Previous Credit Control experience is helpful but not essential.
We’re also open to candidates changing career or returning to work after a break, as long as you bring relevant experience and the right mindset.
