Permanent

35 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Surveyor to help deliver high-quality planned maintenance and investment across our housing portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining and enhancing the quality, safety and sustainability of homes. You will play a key role in shaping how we manage our assets, delivering planned investment programmes and using robust property data to inform long-term, evidence-based decision-making.

About the role

Reporting to the Asset & Sustainability Manager, you will lead on the planning, procurement and delivery of planned works programmes. This will include preparing technical specifications, managing tender processes, overseeing contractors on site, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will also undertake stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments and contribute to asset performance analysis, lifecycle planning and compliance assurance.

The role requires strong experience in project and contractor management within a housing asset environment, together with sound knowledge of Building Regulations and health and safety legislation, including CDM principles. You will be confident in managing budgets, scrutinising contractor performance and ensuring value for money.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with contractors, colleagues and customers, ensuring that planned works are well coordinated and clearly explained.

If you are committed to improving homes, strengthening asset intelligence and delivering excellent services for customers, we would love to hear from you.
