We have an exciting opportunity for a GIS Officer to support Saffron to proactively develop, manage and analyse our stock geographical information system, linking in with other partner data to identify and develop our data.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide support to the Homeownership team and wider business with GIS services
To provide advice and support to GIS users and lead on the integration, development and rollout of training across the organisation
To work closely with other teams in the organisation to map and understand our stock makeup, areas of ownership and what impacts this may have on other teams
To oversee the usages of Land Registry services within the team to ensure up to date information on GIS

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have / Be:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
An understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Housing and Registered Providers.
Experience and knowledge of GIS systems.
Experience in presenting, manipulating and analysing data.
Familiarity with Ordnance Survey mapping and digitising techniques.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages, including Dynamics C365.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Customer focussed with communication skills, with an ability to explain complex issues to people of all ages and backgrounds verbally and in writing.
The ability to manage own workload and prioritise the service to meet legislative deadlines, business plan targets, and operational service plans.
Knowledge and experience of working in line with GDPR and handling sensitive and personal data.

This role will require attendance to the Long Stratton office dependant on business need. Frequency to be discussed at interview.
