£36,306 per annum



Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

We have an exciting opportunity for two Team Leaders to join our Work & Wellbeing team in Barnsley and Sheffield.



 



This is a key leadership role for someone who is passionate about supporting people to achieve meaningful employment outcomes, while leading and developing a team to deliver a high‑quality, performance‑focused service. You will join a supportive, values‑led organisation, working alongside a friendly and committed team where collaboration, learning, and impact really matter.

  • Salary – 4D £36,306 - £39,769

More about the role



 



As a Team Leader, you will lead a small team of Employment Specialists, providing day‑to‑day leadership, performance management, and professional support. The focus of the role is to:



 




  • Lead and motivate a highly effective team of Employment Specialists to deliver positive and sustained employment outcomes aligned to customers’ job preferences

  • Ensure the delivery of a high‑quality, strengths‑based employment support service

  • Provide clear operational oversight, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance standards are met

  • Work collaboratively with partners, employers, and other stakeholders to continually improve service delivery and outcomes for customers.

  • A strong understanding of employment support and what good outcomes look like

  • The ability to drive improvement through focused, supportive performance management

  • A non‑judgemental approach, with a genuine belief that people experiencing disadvantage, disability, or health conditions can find and sustain paid employment

  • A positive and resilient mindset, able to navigate challenges and setbacks while modelling a strengths‑based approach

  • Flexibility and willingness to work across South Yorkshire as required.
