We are seeking an Inclusive Learning Officer to ensure the effective coordination and monitoring of in class support for learners with learning difficulties, disabilities and ESOL, English and Maths support needs.



As our Inclusive Learning Officer, you’ll implement agreed individual programmes of support for learners to enable them to achieve qualification aims, develop independence, enhance progression opportunities and progress towards Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes. You’ll maintain accurate records of support delivered and co-ordinate the timetabling of Learning Coaches to ensure high levels of staff utilisation and quality assure the record keeping of a team of Learning Coaches to meet internal and external audit requirements. You’ll safeguard learners and promote their well-being in all aspects of their learning.



We’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, have excellent teaching skills and relevant teaching experience on BTEC programmes in Business across a range of levels and links with industry, relevant external agencies and validating bodies. With a proven track record in supporting learners with learning difficulties and other support needs to enhance learner success, you’ll have good working knowledge of how to support learners with learning difficulties and other support needs effectively in an educational context with the ability to deliver effective staff development.



Able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress, you’ll have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education and high personal standards and expectations.



The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
