Here at Stonewater, we are seeking a Senior Systems Trainer to support the successful launch and embedding of new systems introduced to the business by designing and delivering high quality training solutions for end users of these systems within the organisation.



You will design, develop, and implement a learning plan for the implementation of new systems and utilise instructional design principles and learning theories to ensure the development of effective learning solutions. You will create, develop and deliver a suite of material and learning experiences to meet a range of learning styles and learning personas and agree the design standards for the learning material alongside the Project Manager and key stakeholders.



Contributing to projects as a subject matter expert, you will provide support in various areas such as Training Needs Analysis, training materials development, e-learning, training assessment, and more and collaborate closely with external system developers, stakeholders, project team members, and subject matter experts, to build rapport and maintain high standards throughout the development and learning creation process.



Ensuring all learning material and activities are fully inclusive and accessible for our colleagues, using the most up to date learning design principles and good practice, you will maintain knowledge of current legislation, regulatory requirements and good practice in the Systems Training fields, ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will:




  • Have at least 5 years experience of systems training.

  • Have experience of developing learning solutions for large-scale transformation projects, particularly ERP system implementations.

  • Be able to design, create and edit digital learning content

  • Have strong project management skills and experience of managing learning programmes from development through to delivery and beyond, including monitoring effectiveness.

  • Have knowledge of learning and development methodologies.

  • Have experience of working with different project methodologies and governance; Agile, waterfall.

  • Ideally have experience with systems, such as Salesforce, Active H, Finance F&O

  • Ideally have experience of working within a Social Housing provider.

  • Be able to communicate, partner and influence managers across the business, challenging where necessary.

  • Be confident in the design and use of virtual, digital and face-to-face learning technologies to deliver engaging content and experiences.



Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
